The hotel Boltzmann is just a few minutes’ walk from the Ringstraße with its magnificent buildings – the Parliament, the City Hall and the Hofburg Palace. The boutique hotel is located in a quiet side road, close to the famous Strudelhofstiege – an outdoor staircase and important example of Jugendstil. Sigmund Freund cherished the typical Gründerzeit architecture of the Servitenviertel, this small area within the 9th district. Underground station U2 “Schottentor – University” and by Tram 37,38,40,41,42 until “Spittalgasse/Nussdorferstrasse” are nearby.

The bar at the Boltzmann, with its modern interior, welcomes guests from 5 pm onwards and is the ideal place to relax at the end of the day. The bar leads directly onto the inviting bamboo terrace, located in a quiet enclosed courtyard – a great location for breakfasting in summer. Many inexpensive shops and restaurants are located in the vicinity of the hotel. Parking possibilities can be found in the  hotel-own garage (Euro 15,- per day), free high-speed WLAN in all areas of the hotel, including rooms.

The hotel Boltzmann has 70 rooms in the categories Standard and Superior. Each room is equipped with a flat screen TV inclusive radio programmes, WLAN internet access,  individual adjustable air conditioning, telephone, mini bar, safe, bathroom, hair dryer and a desk. Some of the Standard double rooms on the 6th floor also have a balcony, offering a panoramic view over Vienna’s rooftops as far as the Riesenrad.
