This city
walk starts with a tour through the individual tracts of the Vienna Imperial
Palace, the winter residence of the Imperial family. To get an impression
of their daily life, you will be shown the former office and private apartments
of Emperor Franz Josef and his wife, Empress Elisabeth. The Viennese Court
followed a very strict ceremonial, and even the most minute details in the
life of the Imperial family was governed by a set of rules. You will visit
the Silver Chamber, where the valuable silver tableware and service is exhibited,
which was used by the Imperial family on a daily basis.
