The hotel with personal atmosphere is situated directly behind the city hall, in the heart of the Josefstadt, one of the most beautiful districts of Vienna. Museumsquartier, Hofburg, House of parliament, Burgtheater, University are reachable in few walking minutes. The closest underground station U2 "Rathaus" is only 3 walking minutes away.
The house hosting the Zipser hotel was built in 1904. Beginning in 1905, it was used as a home for young girls, and shortly afterwards it was rebuilt into the "Pension Zipser" with 11 single bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms. In 1967 Mrs. Hedwig Austerer took over the "Pension Zipser" and renovated it with great care. The 28 rooms were then turned into 53 fully equipped rooms. The hotel is now a family business managed by the third generation. A detailed attention to service, a convivial atmosphere and Viennese tradition are still the guiding principles. Parking garage can be reserved nearby.
The cosy rooms in the "Jugendstil" house partly have a balcony and a view to the garden, all are equipped with bath/shower, cable-TV, radio, hairdryer, telephone and safe.
