Starting at Josefsplatz, our walk takes us past the Imperial Palace, the winter residence of the Imperial family. After a walk through the Volksgarten we reach Beethoven-Pasqualatihouse where the famous composer lived for some time. Here, Beethoven composed his first bigger opus, the opera “Leonore”, afterwards renamed into “Fidelio”. Subsequently, our walk leads us over Herrengasse and Graben to St. Stephen’s Cathedrale. After a turn around with its numerous cultural and historical highlights we lead you through small lanes and yards, which really provide us an impression of the old Vienna.
